Youth squash tournament

WESTVIEW Squash Club's annual Dunlop Youth tournament will again cater for a wide variety of players when it is held at the Newton Park club on Saturday and Sunday.

The event's aim is to encourage an interest in squash and it has been hugely successful, attracting more than 100 entrants each year.

The tournament excludes EP Schools players on the first day when the emphasis is on fun and getting more children exposed to the game.

The second day hosts EP representatives, with the winners and runners-up from the first day qualifying for the Sunday competition.

The entrance fee is R110 a player which includes balls, lights and prizes. One lucky entrant will win a Dunlop racket valued at R1000.

The categories are U11, U13, U14, U16 and U 19 for boys and girls.
