City Friends, who were tied with United, dropped two points back when they were held to a 1-1 draw by defending champions Imbabala Young Stars on Saturday.

Stokes United moved to joint second after a easy 3-1 win over Kabah United Brothers.

Jamaican Stars, the only other unbeaten team in the league, beat Black Aces 3-2.

Tailenders Temptation picked up their first point of the season when they drew 1-1 with fellow strugglers Khayelitsha Stars, who have two points to their credit.

Golden Chiefs scored a surprisingly easy 6-2 win over Young Callies, who were two points ahead of them.

CITY Lads upset the form book by beating Eastern Jumpers 1-0 in a Nebfa Sedgars Premier League encounter on Saturday to record their first win of the season.

Jumpers were unbeaten and at the top of the log.
