Profiles, Old Grey register full points
PROFILES and Old Grey produced impressive performances with maximum points in the penultimate round of the EP men's first squash league this week.
The programme was a shortened one due to the varsity holidays, although NMMU B did fulfil their fixture against Profiles.
They may have preferred to be on holiday, though, because Profiles showed no mercy in taking the full 12 points.
Jacques Theron was NMMU's best performer, losing to Garth Plaatjies in five, while Luke McFarland and Zandre Botha each picked up a game.
Similarly, Old Grey were too strong for Crusaders, winning all four matches.
Old Grey No2 Jacques Wessels showed all his skill and experience in overcoming the challenge of Thami Mngcete in five, while Bonakele Nomkala had a notable 3-1 win over Saders No1 Paul Mason.
The only women's fixture completed saw Sunridge SuperSpar Londt Park C score an easy 12-1 win over Westview B.
