Rout sees Ikamva Movers stay on top

IKAMVA Movers retained top spot in the Mofa Build-it Premier League with a surprisingly easy 6-0 win over Milan Stars at the NU2 Stadium on Sunday.

Goals by Mbongeni Yako and Mhomho Thobela in the space of two minutes saw the log leaders leading 2-0 at the break.

Challengers Shining Stars suffered a setback when they lost 1-0 to Manchester United courtesy of a first-half goal by Andile Deliwe.

Tomorrow Stars caused the shock of the weekend when they thrashed Valencia 4-0.

A hat-trick by Nceba Sizani saw Stars leading 3-0 at halftime.

Bontsa Bonga added the fourth late in the game.

In a weekend of high scores Real Strikers thumped Young Ideas 4-0, with Zolani Mofu scoring a hat-trick in the first half.

TAILENDERS Chatty surprised by beating Hotspurs 1-0 to end the log leaders’ unbeaten run in the Nafa Premier League on Saturday.

To complete a bad weekend for Hotspurs, they then also lost to Fairview Rovers in a Mala Moodaley KO Cup fixture on Sunday.

Blackpool returned to their winning ways when they beat Shamrocks 1-0.

Dwayne Williams converted a penalty midway in the second to earn Blackpool a well deserved three points.

On Sunday Blackpool gave Shatterprufe a soccer lesson in the KO Cup match, winning 8-0 after leading 3-0 at half- time.
