WITH the Safa-NMB SAB League completed, the three Pefa teams that played in the league should be back at full strength for this weekend’s games.
Last week, Callies recovered from their 6-0 drubbing by Vodacom NMMU Madibaz to thrash Motherwell Academy 9-0. They will not find it as easy tonight when they host champions Central Acemates at Londt Park.
With most of their players competing in the SAB League, Acemates got off to a poor start and are just two places away from the bottom of the log.
Forresters, who top the log on goal difference, could find their position short lived when they meet Madibaz at the South Campus.
Although they are in third place, the students are just a point behind Forresters.
Madibaz were joint log leaders with Hearts last week but both sides lost that spot after their 1-1 draw.
Both matches kick off at 8.15pm.
Motherwell Academy, the only team yet to earn a point, host Hearts at Victoria Park tomorrow. Motherwell had a dismal season in the SAB League and have been relegated after just one year.
Warriors, who are tied with Forresters, take on Highbury in their own backyard in Bridgemead.
