SAB league games put off

THE three contenders for the Safa-NMB SAB League title will have to sweat it out for at least another week after their matches scheduled for the NU9 Stadium in Motherwell yesterday were postponed due to waterlogged fields.

Subs top the log, one point ahead of Lion City and two points ahead of Callies with just three matches to play.

City and Callies were due to play in a must-win match, with the loser dropping out of the league race. A draw would suit Subs as it would put them in an unbeatable position.

In the only match played at the weekend, Highland Spurs beat Camper United 1-0. - Mogan Segadavan
