Kings out for win on home ground

RUGBY fans will be hoping the EP Kings can go back to winning ways when they return to their castle at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium for the first time in the Vodacom Cup this season when they host the Boland Cavaliers on Friday (kick-off 7pm).

onsecutive defeats against Western Province, Free State and the SWD Eagles have left the Kings languishing in fifth spot in the standings.

The Kings’ policy of resting their top players for the Currie Cup Premier Division later in the season has resulted in a series of poor results that has left some fans frustrated.

After Friday’s game, the Kings complete the league stage of the season with a visit to Durban to tackle the tabletopping Sharks 15.
