Morning Stars go down to Buffalo

PORT Elizabeth soccer side Morning Stars lost vital points when they were defeated 2-1 by FC Buffalo in an Eastern Cape ABC Motsepe League soccer match at the Zwide Stadium.

The home side started well, but failed to convert their scoring chances.

Stars, in fact, dominated the Friday night match but the visitors were determined to collect maximum points.

Stars tried hard to draw level in the second half but, by then, Buffalo were in control of the game.

Meanwhile, Real City draw 3-3 against Champion at the New Rest Stadium in Lusikisiki on Saturday.

Both teams are striving to improve their positions on the log and City will be disappointed at not earning full points.
