Kings in line for crack at Wales test squad

WALES are set to play their first-ever match in Port Elizabeth when they clash with the EP Kings in a high- profile friendly rugby showdown at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Tuesday June 10.

The game will set the scene for the test between the Springboks and Scotland at the venue on June 28.

"We are in discussions about the clash against Wales and are now waiting for final approval. The fixture still needs to be approved by SA Rugby's executive council," Kings chief executive Charl Crous said.

"Wales are looking at bringing a wider squad down for the tour and are looking for a bit of game time ahead of their test matches. - George Byron
