Star swimmer gets his honours

GRAEME College swimming star Peter Gerber has been recognised for an outstanding junior career by being awarded his honours for swimming.

Since joining Graeme in 2010, Gerber has consistently produced record-breaking performances and was awarded full colours in 2011. Each year since then he has been re-awarded his full colours. In this year's gala, Gerber broke five records out of the seven events which he swum and just missed out on the remaining two marks.

According to the Graeme records, no-one has achieved this.

Gerber has swum 30 full colour times this year and in recognition of that achievement, he has been awarded his honours.

Last year, Gerber qualified for the level two national championships in Cape Town and he has again qualified for the national event this year.
