MORNING Stars defeated East London side OR Tambo 5-2 in a Safa Eastern Cape Second Division League at Zwide Stadium on Friday.

The Kwazakhele outfit scored all their goals in the second half of the game.

Stars dominated ball possession in the first half but they failed to convert their scoring chances.

Both teams went into the first half break with no score.

Stars came back in the second half and took the lead when Andrico Plaatjies scored the opening goal of the match.

Somile Ntsundwana extended Stars score line when he netted the second goal.

Stars players were determined to win the game when Plaatjies registered his second goal of the match.

Anele Tolwana scored his brace to take the score to 5-0.

The visitors scored two quick goals towards the end of the match but it was too late.

Meanwhile, Highbury beat neighbours Jeffreys Bay Milan 2-1 in another Safa Eastern Cape Second Division League clash at the seaside town's sports ground on Saturday.

The home side scored both goals before the break.

Abduragmaan Moodien scored the first goal of the match in the 14th minute.

Port Elizabeth football outfit Real City were crushed 6-3 by FC Buffalo at the Jan Smuts Stadium in East London on Friday.
