THE Chevrolet Warriors continued their perfect start in the Ram Slam T20 Challenge by clinching their second consecutive victory with a five-wicket win over the Knights at Buffalo Park, in East London, last night.
The clash, threatened by rain throughout, had a dramatic finish as the Warriors let a relatively reasonable run-chase of 117 for victory go down to the wire.
Warriors wicketkeeper and captain Davy Jacobs smashed Malusi Sibotho down the ground for four to secure the game with his side needing two runs from the last four balls.
The victory was a collective team effort with the Warriors coming out on top in all three departments on the night and it took the Eastern Cape franchise to the top of the log.
