Second round of Community Trust Premier League kicks off

AFTER the break for the Safa-NMB Ilfa tournament last week, the second round of fixtures in the Nodefa VW Community Trust Premier League will be played this weekend.

Today, City Friends and Golden Chiefs clash in the early match at the Jabavu Stadium and a close tussle can be expected.

In the late game, Stokes United take on Jamaican Stars.

Champions Imbabala Stars, who made a disappointing start to the season, should score a morale- boosting win when they play newly-promoted Temptation in the first match tomorrow.

Manchester Babes and Manchester United clash in the final match of the day.

The only match on Sunday sees Black Aces take on Highland Spurs.

The fixtures are:

Tonight: City Friends v Golden Chiefs, Stokes United v Jamaican Stars.

Tomorrow: Temptation v Imbabala Young Stars, Really Rangers v Khayelitsha Stars, Young Aces v City Style, New City Stars v Kabah United Brothers, Manchester United v Manchester Babes.

AFTER their resounding 5-1 win over Strikers United in their opening match, Major Chiefs will be looking to score another big win when they play Zwide Celtics in a Zwifa Ntando Travel and Tours premier league fixture at the Gal City field tomorrow.

Swartkops United should follow up their easy win over Little Birds with another big win when they play Manchester City, who were thumped by Shinning Stars.

Stars could struggle against Real Dodgers, who gained soft points after Morning Stars failed to arrive for their fixture.
