Cars, bikes out on Scribante track

THE Algoa Motor Sport Club's race division is hosting the fourth regional circuit racing event tomorrow. After a three-month mid-season break, the racers are eager to take to Aldo Scribante circuit again.

Classes competing will include modified saloons, open-top challenge, historic saloons, streetcar challenge and motorcycles.

PE Classic Bikes will have demonstrations of motorcycles from yesteryear and are in the pits open for public display. New to the Eastern Cape and proudly hosted by the Algoa Motor Sport Club and PE Classic Bikes is the Honda NSF100 class.

Catering for children aged eight to 13 who want to start racing motorcycles, the class features training by national champs Robbie Breakspear and Ross Guscott, among others.

The NSF100 class will run a parade at lunchtime. Parents may speak to the class organisers for more information on how to get children involved.

Entry is R50 a car or bike, irrespective of the number of passengers. Gates open at 8am and the last race starts at 4.30pm. For inquiries call Adin Wilson at 084-447-0908, or visit
