Grey tourney to tackle drug issue

GREY High School's Teenagers Against Drug Abuse society will host a touch rugby tournament to create awareness on the school grounds today.

The aim of the tournament is to make the youth aware about drug abuse during their school and sporting careers. The event will be attended by junior as well as senior league teams which will produce a winner from each category. Each participating team will consist of eight players and each category is expected to have a minimum of eight teams.

The school has also invited NMMU rugby teams to play against Grey sides at the end of the tournament.

The school believes the event will also acknowledge those who already lead a drug-free lifestyle. – Mthetho Ndoni
