Busy week ahead for EP bowlers

THE Eastern Province teams in the open, B and seniors categories are all set for their tournaments in Bloemfontein, East London and Johannesburg respectively next week.
In South African bowls, Johannesburg, Gauteng North, Sables, Western Province and Port Natal form the big five.
The open men have benefited from a favourable draw in that only Sables are in the same section as EP.
The women, on the other hand, have to contend with all of the big five except Johannesburg.
Both Geoff Gowar and Paul Spriggs have experienced teams, with the only new cap in the squad being Arthur Langley.
Skips Barbara Coetzee and Karen Korkie lead teams with an eye on the future, but who have performed creditably in the games against Border and Southern Cape.
