UITENHAGE’S sensational marathon runner, Lusapho April, received a warm welcome at the Port Elizabeth Airport yesterday after winning a bronze medal at the New York City Marathon on Sunday.

Family and friends gathered at the airport, praising the runner who crossed the finish line behind Kenyan Geoffrey Mutai and Ethiopia’s Tsegaye Kebede.
