Kings must clip Bock's wings in First Division showdown

IF the EP Kings want to keep on track for a berth in the Currie Cup First Division semifinals, they must find a way of shackling the explosive attacking skills of in-form SWD Eagles wing Alshaun Bock tomorrow.

The powerful wing is the leading try-scorer in the First Division with 16 tries to his name and will be looking to increase his tally against the Kings at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium. Kings skipper Tiger Mangweni says they are well aware of the threat Bock will pose to their hopes of moving up to second spot on the league table.

When the Kings pipped the Eagles 35-34 in a first-round match in George, Bock scored three tries against the men in red and black hoops.

"We put ourselves under pressure last time, letting Bock score those tries," Mangweni said.
