REAL City strengthened their grip on the Safa-NMB SAB League race with a 3-1 win over Motherwell neighbours Lion City at the NU9 Stadium on Saturday.

Lion remain in second place four points behind Real, but are now tied with Morning Stars, who were edged 4-3 by Bay Stars Academy. It was an excellent weekend for Bay, who thrashed Camper United 6-1 on Sunday.

Callies’ hopes of closing in on the logleaders suffered a setback when they were beaten 2-1 by struggling Crystal Palace.
