Adair cracks two centuries for Old Grey

SEAN Adair staked his claim for re-selection to the Eastern Province provincial side by stroking back-to-back hundreds for Maritime Motors Old Grey in Super A League cricket action at the weekend.

The righthander, who last represented EP against Namibia on April 1, started the weekend off with 105 as Old Grey posted 352 against Gamrose on Saturday. Nick Emmett added a well-struck 85 off only 58 balls as Old Grey romped to a 215-run victory.

Medium-pacer Ricky Gerber took for 5/32 to restrict Gamrose to 137.

The same two were at it with the bat again yesterday with Adair making 129 and Emmett 66 as Old Grey proved too strong for Greenbushes, winning by 147 runs.
