Strengthened SWD have trophy in sights

SOUTH Western Districts (SWD), boosted with new personnel, resume their hunt for cricket silverware at the Recreation Ground in Oudtshoorn this morning.

SWD came agonisingly close to winning CSA’s Provincial Three-Day trophy last season. They signalled their intention of going one better than their second place when they secured four new signings during the off- season.

This weekend sees them take on Western Province with Luthan- do Mnyanda (formerly Border), Reece Williams (EP), Glen Addicot (KZN Inland) and Adrian McLaren (Griquas) in their squad.
