Kings venue switch due to ‘logistical reasons’

LOGISTICAL reasons were behind the moving of the Vodacom Cup rugby match between the EP Kings and Griquas to Grey High School on Saturday at 4pm.
This was announced by EP Rugby Union chief executive Anele Pamba at a press conference yesterday.
The match was initially scheduled for EP’s home ground at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, but due to the Neil Diamond music concert taking place tonight it was moved to the Crusaders ground, also home to the Warriors cricket team.
However, it was announced on Tuesday that the venue had once again been changed to the school.
The venue will accommodate 5000 spectators, with fans getting a free ticket for each one they buy.
