Chiefs lose ground with one-all draw against Stars

TWO late goals from either side saw hosts Kaizer Chiefs draw 1-1 with Free State Stars in their Absa Premiership match at Polokwane’s Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday night.
Madoda Motha scored for the visitors what looked like the only goal of the game in the 86th minute with a perfect header from a Stars corner to stun the crowd and deflate Chiefs’ run at the title.
Chiefs replied with a dramatic equaliser late into injury time to square the game up at a goal apiece. Siphiwe Tshabalala converted one of his many chances with a superb strike from the edge of the penalty area to salvage something from the game.
Chiefs came into the game looking to keep the pressure on log-leaders Pirates, and draw within a point with a win. However they dropped crucial points at home with the draw.
