Warriors have plan to put lid on Loots

THE threat of Loots “The Hammer” Bosman may loom large, but the Chevrolet Warriors are confident they have the right strategy to counter him.
The Warriors meet the Dolphins in a Standard Bank Pro20 semi-final first-leg match at Axxess St George’s tomorrow desperate to go 1-0 up heading into the second leg in Durban next Friday.
Bosman stands in their way as a potential threat, with the powerful right-hander boasting the best strike-rate in the series this season.
But Warriors coach Russell Domingo, without giving too much away, says they have strategies in place to curb him.
“There are a few options,” said Domingo. “If there is pace in the wicket you’ve got to try and bowl the ball shorter at him. But if the wicket is slow I think you’ve got to try and take the pace off the ball.
