Kings make two changes for friendly against Cheetahs

THE Southern Kings have made two changes to the team to play against the Cheetahs in a rugby friendly at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Friday.
Lock Ross Kennedy is back in the starting line-up instead of Barend Pieterse after serving as a replacement in the 23-7 win over the Bulls, while injured fullback Tiger Mangweni is replaced by SP Marais.
Coach Alan Solomons also named 11 players on the bench, of whom most will be given a run.
“We will give opportunities to a number of players who are on the bench as this is going to be tough fixture,” Solomons said.
“Also, in the next few days we’ll have to work on our passing and handling skills.”
