Collegiate involved in uplifting Alpha Primary

COLLEGIATE School for Girls, through the Collegiate Junior School
Community Service Club, has been involved in uplifting Alpha Primary
School in Gelvandale for the past two years.

When a block of the school was torched by arsonists in February,
Michelle Brussow, one of the parents who assist at the club, called on
businesses and the public to help the school get back on its feet
through donations such as stationery, computers and furniture.

Herbert Hurd Primary School has also started donating school uniforms
to Alpha Primary, since they share the same school colours.

Alexander Road and Grey high schools have also recently assisted
Normoyle Primary School in Missionvale by donating uniforms to the
pupils, who would otherwise not have been able to afford them.
