Letter: Stop criticising president

Khusta Jack’s articles penned under the Khusta’s Quest column have over time developed the hallmark of negativity and lack of patriotism. Jack, like so many of his cronies associated with the Save South Africa campaign, is advocating through the media that South Africans adopt the doom and gloom approach towards our glorious motherland known as the “half empty glass” scenario. Jack, the Pityanas and others are modern day Brutuses, sticking a dagger in the back of our beloved ANC, which enabled them to accumulate wealth over the past 23 years and enjoy their current elitist lifestyles. They use every opportunity to pursue the DA-led agenda of regime change. With the DA, they are motivated by a pathological hate of the ANC. Their common strategy is Zumaphobia and the corruption bogeyman. All these upwardly mobile “black diamonds” should reflect on their treachery. These Brutuses are sticking a dagger in the back of all the ancestors of the ANC who on April 27 1994 liberated all South Africans.

Shame on you. Rather forgive, reconcile and embrace our president in a new patriotism. If we could do it with National Party members guilty of crimes against humanity, why not with President Jacob Zuma? Rather be a light in your corner and see the glass as half full in our glorious motherland South Africa. Zumaphobia is in essence the advocating of black turning to hate black in our hard-won democracy. God help us.
