I find it interesting that President Zuma, on various occasions and platforms, proclaims his support for Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan . . .
To show his support (on national television), he falls asleep in parliament while Gordhan delivers his budget speech (screengrab from HeraldLive above) and then, on conclusion of the speech, jumps up and vigorously shakes the minister’s hand, obviously congratulating him on a job well done.
How false can one get? No doubt a suitable caption to the picture would read, “You go Mr Gordhan, I got your back, boet. I’m even dreaming about you.”
