I would like to give credit to the metro water team for promptly attending to a significant water leak, after it was re-reported late in the week of August 22.
I received three subsequent follow-up calls advising of progress and the leaking valve was replaced on Friday. Well done guys.
The leak originated with a spectacular geyser in 2013, along the Churchill bulk water pipeline passing through Bushy Park Farm, and had been leaking to a lesser extent till Friday. Without derogating from this team’s efficient service, one can only ask what has changed, that a leak that was repeatedly reported over the last three years has now suddenly been repaired.
