Letter: Bay in competent hands

AS an outgoing councillor who has been part of the metro team under mayor Danny Jordaan’s leadership, I would like to say it has been exciting and fulfilling. His energy and commitment to provide service to the people is contagious.
His lifetime commitment to the vision of the ANC of a safe, non-racist, non-sexist, democratic and prosperous South Africa is inspiring. His fearless, relentless war on inefficiency and corruption is admirable.
He is tough but fair, and under his leadership the metro cannot fail to thrive. So I say, with absolute conviction, that the metro will be in competent, stable and progressive hands with Jordaan at the helm.
