Letter: Waiting for year already

REFERRING to Elcene’s chirp, “How long does rezoning take?” (June 7), don’t hold your breath! We have been waiting for more than a year with our rezoning application.
The ANC-run municipality is so busy launching the questionable metro police, resurrecting the IPTS buses, all pre-election ploys, and wooing DA councillors to be used as election fodder that everything, and in particular the human settlements department, has been relegated to the back burner. Under the ANC-run metro nothing will change – same old, same old.
