Letter: You’re responsible for the discord, JZ

JACOB Zuma has had the audacity to blame the other “politicians” for sowing discord among the South African population. How gullible does he think we all are? He must please refrain from thinking we are a bunch of idiots who cannot think for ourselves. We are intelligent human beings. We actually use the brains that God gave us. Zuma is largely the cause of the discord due to his very unacceptable behaviour throughout his term of office. None of the other politicians owe South Africa in excess of R246-million for upgrades to his personal home, for which to date he has not paid a cent. They have not been accused of fraudulent and corrupt dealings nor of rape.

The ANC itself is also a cause of the discord as it, as a political party, is allowing the president to behave in an inappropriate manner and not calling him to book. The ANC is responsible for running this country into the ground over the last 20-plus years and no one else. Many, many South Africans are now sick and tired of the lies, the fraud, the lack of morals and generally bad running of this country by the ANC and Zuma – they think they are untouchable. They all forget that South Africans put them into power and they can remove them. Sooner or later all South Africans’ eyes will open up and this will be the end of the ANC reign of power and excess in this country. I hope for that sooner rather than later. By the day the ANC is losing the power it had due to it not keeping promises, and to the lies, the fraud and the corruption. Even the most loyal of followers are waking up and seeing the truth. Beware when South Africa stands up and takes back the country. It can happen. No one is untouchable.
