I SEE the Eastern Cape is named the worst region to live in due to high unemployment rates and low incomes (“Province trashed as worst region in country to live in”, December 30). Why not solve the high unemployment rate by employing more traffic cops so we can see them on the road?
That way, hopefully, there will be fewer inconsiderate and selfish drivers on the road who pay no regard to stopping at red robots, chatting on cellphones and stopping anywhere they want to! We need traffic cops to be on the road.
The Eastern Cape will become a better place to be in with safe driving, fewer accidents and less road rage! Too many drivers are driving in fast lanes now – what happened to keep left, pass right?
