Praise for hero

I WOULD like to comment on the article about the teenager who pulled his sister out of a taxi after a crash in Thornhill (“Teen pulls sisters from taxi after horror N2 crash,” Herald March 25).

It is tremendous bravery on his part for him to have saved his sister after the fatal crash.

He is an inspiration to young people as he demonstrates courage that many young people in our society lack today. Many other people would run away in fear or panic but this young man remained strong.

People really need to be careful on the road while driving and watch out for other irresponsible people, who do not care about others’ lives. Accidents happen so quickly and few people take responsibility for their actions.
