Dead man still gets accounts

I WORK in a company mail room and for the past about 10 years have had the displeasure of having to receive a municipal rates account of an employee whose death we've reported monthly on receiving this letter. Each month I write "Employee deceased long ago" on the returned account.

I even discussed this issue with the main post office employees in the private bags department to no avail. That area is also sitting with the same problem of having to send back masses of these accounts each month.

I believe this is unnecessarily costing the municipality money. Can't any responsible person, if any, look into this and stop it?
