Meyiwa's death shocks

IT is very shocking and sad to hear about the untimely death of a sport hero, Senzo Meyiwa, who was No1 goalkeeper of Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates. I applaud the commissioner of police for pulling all the strings, and for keeping the nation informed about the next steps to apprehend the miscreants.

These hooligans have robbed us of a son of the soil and one of the sporting heroes who devoted his time and life to the beautiful game.

We need to work hand in hand with the police and investigators so that the miscreants can be brought to book.

Senzo was one of the rising stars and he has made his mark in the Buccaneers. May his soul rest in peace.

I am also thinking of his family, Orlando Pirates fans and players including technical staff, Bafana Bafana teammates and all of us. He was very dedicated in his football careerand always wanted to be the best of the best in the goalkeeping position.
