Zuma rules prevail

HONOURABLE President Jacob Zuma, you never cease to amaze me.

You had the temerity on Monday to question the morality of Oscar Pistorius's defence team.

I take it that, by implication, the retinue of legal people involved in your being able to avoid "your day" in court are absolutely squeaky clean? It is very difficult to contemplate life in South Africa according to the "rules of Zuma".

"We've measured the depth and height of the seas, the earth and the heavens, we've discovered a countless multitude of worlds; we construct 'incomprehensible machines'. But something is missing. You can't fill up a vacuum in the soul with the limited and transitory" – Grigory Skovoroda, 18th century Russian thinker, theologian and poet.
