Anglican Church still conservative

THE Anglican Church has its roots in England and has not adapted to African forms of worship ("Anglican migration concerns," October 14). It is a very conservative church believing in the archaic form of worship when everything else around it has changed.

St Michael's Anglican Church in Bryanston, Johannesburg is a classical example of how they can reform the Anglican church.

They host the said mass in the early morning on Sunday which is dominated by the traditionalists of the church. The second service is conducted according to the current liturgy and is attended by the reformed members of the church.

In the evening, they conduct the evening service for the youth where guitars are played, scripture readings and sermons are displayed using power point.
