Access across road still closed

I CANNOT believe that the road leading out of Cape Road before the entrance to Fernglen going down Cape Road towards the city centre has for months been closed due to roadworks that are uncompleted and at a standstill.

Surely this is the reason why motorists are using the pavement as a solution to get to their destinations in the mornings.

I suggest that the broad pavement from there right down to the William Moffett intersection should be removed for another left hand traffic lane.
