Will paramedic staff act professionally?

HOW sad to experience that owners and staff of paramedic organisations are chasing money instead of putting lives first ("Ambulances at war", July 30). My concern is how do we as the public know if these paramedics are qualified to administer drugs to injured persons and drips?

If they act like hooligans in public, then how sure can you be that they will attend to you in a professional manner? Do they carry proof that they are qualified medics?

Can family ask at perhaps an accident scene for proof to show that they did courses in first aid, for example?
