Pay tribute to South End cop

OLD South Enders will remember Jack O'Connell, the legendary policeman who "walked the beat" in the 1950s and who was stationed in the Baakens Street office. Jack passed away at the age of 87, and I appeal to all who knew and loved him to attend his funeral service at 11am today at St Marks Church as we pay tribute to an officer and a gentleman.
