TO the National Arts Festival organisers:

An improvement to the festival. Your booklet is quite comprehensive The shows listed in full and in brief But most important of all, when nature does call Is to find near at hand a place of relief

The map in the booklet's quite detailed Though toilets are not indicated In vain was my search, I was left in the lurch My only recourse was to become constipated

The weather in July could be better With temperatures in figures quite low But as I get older, and the days do get colder Toilets loom large as the places to go

In youth my bladder was capacious No fears through long show or recital But diminished by years, is my volume for beers And the search for the toilets becomes ever vital

Surely I can't be alone in this quest Human nature is the same all around So I urge you to alter your map and not falter And show where the rest rooms are to be found - Chris Coupe, Adcockvale, Port Elizabeth
