Obligation to work

HAVING been resident in countries to the north, including Zimbabwe, one realises that prior to the total collapse of Zimbabwe it was drowning in strikes and collapsed its own economy. With the rand on the verge of collapse it is obvious the same fate awaits us here unless people get back to work.

From the beginning of time the need for people to work has been part of our lot and to pass "rights" to strike simply means "right to destroy". The only way for South Africa ever to have a better life for all is for all to work very hard.

Anyone who eats has no right to strike. He or she has an obligation to work and hard at that.
