Let army protect our SA people

COULD someone please explain to us concerned citizens why the army cannot be allowed to protect our country against the dangers of crime, gangsterism, poaching, drug dealing, unsafe schools, etc.
The chances of us being invaded by an enemy are remote, but we have plenty of other evils infiltrating the country. Safety first.
