Good hospital care

UNLIKE the anonymous patient in the chirps of May 2, I was taken to Livingstone Hospital by Gardmed two months ago, having slipped in and out of a late onset diabetic coma at home. I was treated really well in casualty, although I did my best to undo their good work by pulling out all my tubes and catheters twice before being restrained and taken to high care.

There the treatment continued to be excellent.

I now have to go back monthly for checkups, and the staff have always been polite and good to me and the others waiting for their checkups.

Yes, there are long queues but when a condition is life-threatening they do pull out all the stops and for this service I am prepared to queue for follow-ups. Keep up the good work.
