WHAT PARTY TO VOTE FOR

I WISH the ANC victory in the elections and I’m confident more than ever before that it is going to win, but after the election the leadership of the ANC must deal with the challenges facing the ANC, damaging things like Nkandla and poor leadership in municipalities, provinces and even at a national level.

MZI TYALI

THE DA-led Western Cape created 146000 jobs last year, the most in all SA provinces. (Stats SA). Vote for decent jobs! vote DA!

CELESTE BARKER

THOSE DA-supporting blacks, who have benefitted from the sacrifices of Nelson Mandela et al and as a result enjoy the fruits of liberation by now being able to lead a normal life, with benefits like living in the leafy suburbs and sending their children to former Model C schools, should focus on which party made this possible. This contemplation will bring one conclusion: vote ANC so we can take South Africa forward.

DR GALLOWAY

WHITES are 10% of the population and not all of them vote for the DA. The DA is expected to get 22% in this election. That means the other (more than) 12% are black, coloured and Indian, making it for the first time, a black majority party.

N OMAR

PLEASE PE people, go and vote for the DA. They are trying to “doen alles (do all)” to make things better for everyone. We were told 45000 DA supporters did not bother to vote last election. Every DA vote is helpful. Thank you so much!

NKANDLA CONTROVERSY

SO it’s only “a few million rand” on Nkandla, Thulas Nxesi? (And what about the poor?) The problem sir, is it’s our money being spent and Nkandla belongs to us.

TOM H

DEAR Jacob Zuma, our beautiful country is angry, uncertain, smelling and bleeding. Please save us all by standing down!

JOIN THE DA, TREVOR

TREVOR Manuel, if you join the DA and take over from Helen Zille, I will polish your shoes for the rest of my life.
