TO those who still believe the ANC has a good story to tell, please comment on the Limpopo book scandal. It is April and court action is pending to force those responsible to supply books and those who reported this shocking state of affairs have been threatened by officials if they continue with court action. Basic education is suffering. What does the ANC have to say about this ongoing saga – complete with lie after lie? To trust this party is idiotic, one has to be a moron to accept this lack of delivery.

ANC: If it’s not last minute food parcels, T-shirts, the rush to build a few more free houses to hand out, now it’s mattresses all paid for with our money just before election day! Why do we put up with this? All for its campaign? Why is it allowed?

ANTI-CORRUPTION

YOUR headline, “Controversial MP quits ANC”, dealing with the resignation of Salam Abram, should have read “Principled MP quits ANC”.

DERRICK FELLOWS

NOT FIT TO STAND AS PRESIDENT

JACOB Zuma is no longer fit to stand as president. Stop sidestepping please and let younger blood take over. You’re way over the hill and way too busy with all your wives. Give someone else a chance. It’s not all take, sometimes you need to give.

WHAT right-minded person can accept that an individual would be unaware of a R248-million upgrade to his private residence?

HOW YOUNG PEOPLE WILL VOTE

AS a young person in SA, I am not voting ANC. Its policies only destroy jobs. Under a DA government we will be much better off.

ENTHUSIASTIC VOTER

AS a young person we need the DA to take over the municipality for a better future.

DA SUPPORTER

I AM definitely voting for the DA because young people will have more opportunities.

SAME OLD STALLS AT SPLASH

THE Splash only consisted of the normal foreign traders selling the same old things that you can buy on a Sunday from the Kings Beach stalls. How many sunglasses, bags and hats can a person look at! There must have only been five stalls that were different! It was so congested, whereas they should have spread them out to the part after KFC where they normally used to be. The show with Steph the hypnotist is the best thing about the Splash!

GLAD OF A BREAK FROM PISTORIUS TRIAL

WHAT a pleasure to switch on the TV and open a paper without having to see Oscar Pistorius or Reeva Steenkamp!

MAKE USE OF PRIVATE REPAIR SHOPS

MAYBE state mechanics can’t fix the cars. There are a lot of other mechanics in the Bay as well as body shops that aren’t expensive.

AL

SUGGEST the millions set aside for any national pride celebrations be spent on vehicles for our police services. Maybe some pride will be restored.

GANGSTERS SHOULD HAVE NO RIGHTS

GANGSTERS have no rights. Hennie Bence and Ryno Scholtz must not represent them. Why must they protect the gangsters?

REPLIES TO READERS’ COMMENTS

JOHN Jackson, you don’t have the moral compass to lecture Palestinians or the BDS movement. Your so-called support is a joke. Viva BDS!

A ESSOP

WELL said, Jay. Easter on the West Cape roads a pleasure. Plenty of cops and speed traps on N2. None in East Cape. Off for Easter perhaps?

DR Galloway, find an island and go there! The ANC’s theft and corruption in every department, and non-delivery of just about everything is enough to hate the way it is destroying our country – what’s to love? The slippery slide we’re on?

A SCARED SOUTH AFRICAN!
