Action saved my life

TWO weeks ago I fell in the St George's Hospital car park. A small crowd gathered, among whom was Valerie, an ex-nursing sister.

I had never met her before nor did I know her surname, so I am hoping that she or someone who knows her will read this letter.

She insisted that I went to casualty before embarking on a journey back to Grahamstown.

In the event her action saved my life as my injuries were serious.

I would like her to know how profoundly grateful I and my family are to her for her kind and timely intervention.
