Sea life must be valued

SO now we have a vigilante group against perlemoen poaching in Port Elizabeth! Why has this blatant poaching been allowed to get so out of control?

These are assets, and should be protected and allowed to replenish. Does this government not realise these assets can be used to create jobs and boost exports under a controlled environment?

The exporting of perlemoen and crayfish should be banned altogether, until stocks are viable. We should then create a market whereby foreigners come to South Africa to enjoy these seafood delicacies in our restaurants.
