Finally hope to curb corruption

I AM convinced that the government systems to fight corruption and mismanagement are weak.

Government is establishing one unit after the other to counter corruption, but with no breakthrough.

Two events that took place last week:

1. In Bhisho there was a meeting with the city bosses whereby they were questioned about why they were not acting against those guilty of mismanagement.

2. The MEC for local government and traditional affairs Mlibo Qoboshiyane vowed to probe the deputy mayor’s Mercedes hire bill.

Deployed comrades and officials are not at liberty to loot the resources of our people. I hope something will be done after these interventions.
